KFC Canada’s Double Down Waffle Sandwich!

That picture above may look like Britney Spears’ chicken fried cooze if Britney Spears’ chicken fried cooze had vagina dentata, but it’s actually a picture of KFC’s latest heart-clogging, diabetes-summoning monstrosity: a waffle and fried chicken threesome. While citizens of Britain were fleeing their homeland for lands not painfully suffering from a chemical chicken shortage, KFC Canada was quietly solving the problem of eating fried chicken and waffles.

When you eat fried chicken and waffles, you have to strain your delicate hands while cutting up pieces of waffles and cutting pieces of fried chicken, and putting them together on a fork before lifting it all into your mouth. Eating fried chicken and waffles is HARD! But KFC Canada solved the issue of our generation by making a Double Down Waffle Sandwich. They took their signature Double Down and replaced the cheese and bacon with a Belgian waffle and Canadian maple aioli sauce. KFC said in a statement that their Double Down Waffle Sandwich is only around for a limited time and it’s a gift to Canada!

“The Double Down is our most talked about and demanded menu item in Canada, so we wanted to do something special exclusively for Canadian fans. We know fans have been craving chicken and waffles on our menu, and we’re happy to provide this unique take on the trendy food pairing. The maple aioli sauce is a sweet nod to KFC’s Canadian fans.”

Usually, fast food places use Mariah Carey amounts of Photoshop and Kartrashian levels of filters on their food to make it look better in ads, but the real thing doesn’t look that much different from the photo shoot version:

And I would say that millions of ‘Muricans are going to demand that KFC bring that mess to America, but we don’t care about that thing. First of all, it’s the size of a sensible mid-morning snack, and second of all, it’s missing bacon, whipped cream and six slabs of pure butter (or bacon whipped butter). So let Canadians have their little health food!
