An-Qi, the TV anchor in China who has wowed millions with her cotton candy-gobbling skills!

I’ve said this many times before here (because it left painful scars on my childhood memories and I will never forget), but when I was a kid, my mother barely let us have any sugar since she thought sugar was the work of Satan. So sometimes I had to use my allowance money to buy delicious sugar things on the down-low and I had to eat it quickly on the down-low too. Because of that, I wish An-Qi was around when I was a youngin’ to teach me how to masterfully shove a sugary pink fart cloud (aka cotton candy) in my eating hole in less than 5 seconds.

BuzzFeed says that An-Qi  was on a Chinese variety show called I’m The Winner, and she lived up to the show’s title in a cotton candy-eating battle against a dude host who didn’t stand one chance against her. An-Qi and her competitor battled it out to see who could eat a fluff of cotton candy faster, and she quickly proved she’s the Joey Chestnut of cotton candy-eatin’.

The clip went viral on Chinese social media site Weibo with 16 million views (and counting) before it made it to Twitter. An-Qi did a quick interview with BuzzFeed about her deep throating cotton candy skills and says that while he was trying to psych her out, she was quietly plotting his DEMISE.

An-Qi told BuzzFeed News that eating the cotton candy like that was a spur-of-the-moment decision. “My urge to beat my competitor was too strong,” she said.

“When I finished, I had no idea I was so quick either,” she said. But she added that she knew she was going to win because while her opponent was trash-talking her, she was already formulating a plan.

So let An-Qi inspire you. As your haters shit-talk you, keep your mind on the prize and destroy their ass. But as a chronic untreatable shit-talker, I can’t relate.
