Mel B Continues To Insist That There Will Be A Spice Girls Reunion With Victoria Beckham

The months-long back-and-forth between all five members of the Spice Girls about a reunion tour continues, captivating 13-year-old me’s extremely short attention span and the world alike. There’s been denials and supposed confirmations. Mel B is now claiming that she doesn’t have to say, “Say you’ll be there,” to Victoria Beckham because VB will definitely be there.

When we last left off, Sporty Spice (Mel C) claimed that Posh had been vocal about not wanting a Spice Girls reunion tour. But Mel B spoke to the press about Victoria’s involvement during an America’s Got Talent event yesterday. I’m kind of surprised people are still asking Mel B anything about this alleged reunion, since she tends not to have the most accurate information on Spice Girls matters. But here’s what she said:

“I can’t say anything, but you definitely will see us, all five, back together this year. And not just in Geri’s front room!”

Mel B is talking about the meeting that happened with Spice Girls manager Simon Fuller last month:

Love u all so much!!! X Such a great day!! Thank u Simon! X VB

Simon has previously stated that if a Spice Girls reunion tour were to happen, it might be with four instead of five.

Mel B didn’t exactly confirm anything with her answer; she only said that the five of them will be reuniting at some point in 2018. Like, I’m not picturing Victoria vacuuming the stink of stale Chupa Chups out of her spot in the Spice World bus in preparation to hit the road with the girls. We’ll only know she’s in for sure if someone sees one of her assistants dropping an old little Gucci dresses off at the dry cleaners. Come on, she may be in, but she’s not going to waste fresh new dresses on it.

Here’s more of Mel B looking like a cyborg poodle with (get ready to feel ancient) her daughter Phoenix Chi Gulzar at the kickoff of the 13th season of America’s Got Talent in Los Angeles yesterday.
