Britney Spears Won The Famed “Fragrance Of The Year” Award

If you were afraid Awards Season was going to pass Britney Spears by this year you better find something else to worry about because the 2018 Hollywood Beauty Awards have just given Britney the coveted Fragrance of The Year award! Her signature scent “Dust Du Fromage” didn’t win but her Louisiana magnolia inspired fragrance “Fantasy In Bloom” did!

Here’s Britney’s acceptance speech. It’s surprising that Brit chose this moment to weigh in on our country’s ongoing debate on gun control. I mean, check out her guns! Brit is clearly a proponent of open carry.

I love that her kids now think Britney has a Best Picture Oscar and couldn’t care less.

Past recipients of the coveted FOTY are Dior’s “Sauvage” which was presented by campaign model Johnny Depp and last year’s winner Paris Hilton for her smell “Gold Rush”. There used to be a Johnny Depp “Sauvage” poster by my tram stop in Zurich and somebody graffitied it to read “Sausage” which was probably the best joke ever made by a Swiss person.
