A Source Says That Rachel McAdams Is Seven Months Pregnant (UPDATE)

The last time we checked in on who Rachel McAdams was dating (or “Who Rachel McAdams is killing time with until her true love Ryan Gosling swoops back into her life” as those remaining die-hard The Notebook fans might say), she was dating fellow hot Canadian person Taylor Kitsch. This isn’t good news for people who are hoping this story ends with a Lil’ Tim Riggins/Regina George baby.

According to Life & Style, Rachel McAdams is “at least” seven months pregnant with a baby put in her by screenwriter Jamie Linden. A source claims that they recently saw 39-year-old Rachel and 37-year-old Jamie having dinner in Atlanta, and that she looked to be a minimum of seven months pregnant.

“They were a low-key couple and not outwardly affectionate” during their dinner date, says the eyewitness, who adds that Rachel was “positively glowing.”

Rachel and Jamie have been together since April 2016. She was photographed at TIFF last September with many ruffles covering her midsection, which could have either been some clever pregnancy diversion, or just a choice made by a ruffle enthusiast. But if the source is correct with their trimester guessing, Rachel might have been about 2 or 3 months pregnant at TIFF. If she is pregnant, it sounds like she really doesn’t want people to know about it. For example, Rachel isn’t on social media, so it’s not likely that she’s going to confirm it herself with any bump selfies. And the Hollywood premiere for Rachel’s new film Game Night happened last night, and Rachel was nowhere to be seen.

I don’t blame her for skipping the premiere. It’s bad enough to be asked over and over again by press: “What’s your favorite game to play on game night?“. But to repeatedly answer “I guess 13 Dead End Drive?” while struggling with heartburn, lower back pain, swollen feet, and the constant need to piss all the time is just too much.

UPDATE: Both People and E! confirm through “sources” that Rachel is having a baby.
