January Jones Denies That She’s Dating Nick Viall

Last month, January Jones was rumored to be dating former bachelor from The Bachelor Nick Viall (aka the one that looks like someone threw Ryan Reynolds in the dryer). January was a big Bachelor fan, who apparently took her obsession one step too far, and she and Nick had reportedly been seeing each other for about two months. Either January realized how embarrassing it was to be dating one of the discount bin Bachelors, or someone was exaggerating that rumor. Because she denied it.

January spoke to Entertainment Tonight at the CFDA’s Runway to Red Carpet event in Los Angeles yesterday, and she was more than a little surprised to be linked to Nick. When informed that everyone thinks they’re dating, January replied:

“Oh do they? I’m obsessed with The Bachelor! He’s a friend of mine, he’s super sweet. No, I’m single. But I, um, he’s a friend of mine and tells me lots of inside scoops.”

So they’re just friends, which is sort of weird considering January told James Corden back in November that she was “kind of into” Nick. And they’ve been liking each other’s posts on social media, which is basically famous people flirting 101.

Maybe they aren’t together now, but I don’t think it started out that way. I think January went on a date with Nick, and one of those “inside scoops” she got was that he doesn’t actually live in a palatial 7,500 square foot Spanish Colonial mansion, but a modest studio in North Hollywood to save some moneywhile he waits for the phone call asking him to do Bachelor in Paradise. That, or he ended the date by asking her, “Will you accept this rose…that I made from a folded-up Kleenex. Sorry, but Vons ran out of $3.99 bouquets.

Here’s more of January at the CFDA’s Runway to Red Carpet and I’m assuming the journey from runway to red carpet involves a brief pit stop at a community donation bin.
