Farrah Abraham Is Suing Viacom For Porn Shaming Her

Is she sure they weren’t just shaming her for being Farrah Abraham, a shameful person who just so happens to have also done porn? I’m sure a judge will get to the bottom of that. What we know right now is that former Teen Mom cast member and current I-guess-you-could-call-her-a-mother Farrah Abraham has filed a lawsuit against Viacom, the parent company of MTV, for wrongful termination.

Back in October 2017, Farrah claimed that she’d been fired from Teen Mom OG because MTV wasn’t feeling her second career as an “adult business mogul” (her words). Producers later confronted Farrah on camera and accused her of being difficult. She then changed her story on Instagram by claiming she was the one who chose to leave the “hateful” and “horrible” show. One thing is for sure – nobody involved looked like they wanted to deal with each other anymore.

The Blast is reporting that Farrah has now filed a $5 million lawsuit against Viacom for wrongfully terminating her employment “because she did not conform to gender stereotypes.” She accuses producer Morgan J. Freeman (seen in the clip above) and his crew of confronting her at her home to harass, humiliate, discriminate, disrespect, ridicule, degrade, and sex shame her for her decision to pursue opportunities in the world of adult entertainment. 26-year-old Farrah entered the porn industry in 2013 when Vivid released a film she made with porn star James Dean. Since then she’s dabbled in stripping, making toys from molds of her vagina, and solo cam shows.

Farrah claims Morgan and the crews’ harassment was based on gender stereotypes of how women “should act and appear.” Farrah alleges that Morgan had threatened her with ending her career at MTV, and sabotaging future deals she had in place with MTV. She says that shortly after their confrontation, she was told she was no longer needed for Teen Mom OG.

She’s seeking $5 million for emotional pain and suffering, damages, mental anguish, and “loss of enjoyment of life.” She also claims she is still owed money from her Teen Mom OG contract. Viacom released the following statement regarding Farrah’s lawsuit:

“We respect Farrah’s decision to pursue other endeavors and we wish her the best. Regarding her suit, the claims are without merit.”

Good luck to Farrah’s lawyer, because I have no idea how they’re going to maintain her argument if this if this lawsuit goes to court. Farrah couldn’t have been fired for doing adult stuff; she appeared in not one, but two adult films, and MTV still kept her around for years after that. Farrah’s entire character on Teen Mom OG was the one with the bad surgery who does porn now. I’m legitimately surprised MTV never added little pixelated cartoon dildos and vibrators on Farrah’s scrapbook page of the Teen Mom opening credit sequence.
