Cardi B Might Be Pregnant

Even though Cardi B was supposed to be the voice of Alexa in those Super Bowl Amazon commercials, a new report is making me hope that Cardi swiped an Alexa from the set to use to order What To Expect When You’re Expecting. Because Cardi might be pregnant.

TMZ says Cardi’s team was telling people during Super Bowl weekend she was pregnant when asked why she wasn’t getting crunk at any after-parties. She performed at a few events in Minneapolis, including a Maxim party. It sounds like there were two VIP areas: one for boozy performers and athletes and the other specifically for Cardi and her entourage.

After she performed, a staffer tried to escort her to the VIP area where bottles were popping, but her team said she wanted to stick to an area where the only drink available was Fiji water since she was three to four months pregnant. Some fan apparently posted about the alleged pregnancy on Instagram, but Cardi clapped back:

“No bitch I’m just getting fat. Let me fat in peace.”

Maybe she just wanted a quiet place to read her new favorite book! Call me old-fashioned and tacky, but I’d want to spend a few years making other bitches jealous flaunting that $500,000 engagement ring from Offset before I start having kids. That being said, this is coming at just the expected timeline in the Dummy’s Guide To Being A Hip-Hop Star. First, you piss off Azealia Banks, then you get kicked out of a hotel, and if it all gets better with an engagement. Baby comes next, and pretty soon we’ll be on track to splitsville with Mariah Carey presiding as mediator to make sure Cardi gets alimony without ever having to walk down the aisle, okurrrrrr?
