Miko Brando Calls Quincy Jones’ Comments About His Dad And Richard Pryor “Wrongful”

February 13, 2018 / Posted by:

Rain Pryor isn’t the only one pissed off at Quincy Jones for talking out of school about Richard Pryor and Marlon Brando doing the last horizontal tango in Hollywood. Miko Brando, Marlon’s eldest living son (and former HSOTW!) has told TMZ that Quincy is full of shit. But in a nice way.

Miko released the following statement to TMZ:

“The Marlon Brando family has heard the recent comments by Quincy Jones and we are disappointed that anyone would make such a wrongful comment about either Marlon Brando or Richard Pryor.”

I don’t understand why these kids don’t want us to have any joy in our lives. Uncle Q was just doing his best to delight and tickle our senses of wonder! Of course, like Rain, it’s kind of hard to imagine how Miko could be sure about whether the alleged affair took place. I mean, I hope Marlon wasn’t sitting his young son on his knee and running down a full list of his sexual partners. But I guess you never know with Marlon. TMZ notes that Rain Pryor’s denials have since been removed from Facebook so maybe she’s had a chance to read whatever notes Richard’s widow Jennifer claims to have (or maybe she’s just opting out of the insanity). According to TMZ:

You’ll recall, Jennifer said Richard wasn’t upset at all by Quincy‘s comments — adding the comedian was always very open about his bisexuality, apparently having documented his experiences in diaries he kept.

Now that’s a book I can’t wait to get my nose all up in. Maybe Richard will be able to have the final word himself. I hope Uncle Q’s flapping gums don’t wind up getting him sued. I’d love for him to spend the rest of his golden years spilling the beans. He’s lived an extraordinary life, why would he make this shit up? People are going to believe what they want to believe. I happen to want to believe whatever Quincy wants me to believe because I’ll take colorful storytelling and dramatic reveals over boring old reality any day.
