John Stamos And His Wife Got Married And Robbed In The Same Weekend

February 5, 2018 / Posted by:

On Saturday, 54-year-old John Stamos to his pregnant 31-year-old model/actress girlfriend Caitlin McHugh. People says the wedding took place at the Little Brown Church in Studio City, CA, while the reception was held back at John’s house in Beverly Hills. It sounds like it was all very nice, except for the fact Caitlin’s hotel room was robbed the night before and the thieves made off with all her wedding day jewels.

TMZ says Caitlin was staying at the Beverly Hills Hotel on Friday night. She left around dinnertime, and when she returned to her bungalow she discovered someone had stolen $165,000 worth of jewelry. The worst part was, all the jewels were on loan from jeweler to the stars (and The Bachelor contestants) Neil Lane specifically for her wedding. So not only was she without her special wedding day jewelry, she was also on the hook for $165,000.

Caitlin reportedly called John, who rushed over to her hotel bungalow. Police say there was no sign of forced entry, and they have zero suspects so far. Hmmm…this sounds like a job for Mrs. Carruthers and her hot pink Crime Catchers t-shirt of justice.

I guess if there’s any bright side to this, it’s that the robbers did their robbing the night before and left Caitlin with enough time to come up with something else to wear. Although it would appear she kept her look fairly low-key in the jewelry department. UsWeekly has a few photos of their wedding. And I’m sure we’ll see more, just as soon as John’s friends at People put the finishing touches on their cover featuring a tuxed-up John flashing all his sexy teeth.

It could have been so much worse. Imagine if the robbers made their way into John Stamos’ bungalow the morning of and made off with his lucky round blow-dry brush and favorite bottle of mousse? Yeah, that wedding would have gotten called off.
