Marky Mark, Josh Duhamel and Roman Reigns Were Named In A Steroids Ring
If you haven’t seen the trailer for Roid Boyz starring Mark Wahlberg, Josh Duhamel and WWE star Roman Reigns it’s because it doesn’t exist. But if it did, it would be a true life tale of celebrities getting caught up in a illegal steroids ring directed by YouTuber Jon Bravo. According to TMZ, the three sides of beef (well, two and a half, I don’t think Josh can boast the bulk) got fingered by roid dealer Richard Rodriguez who flapped his gums to Jon from prison.
The Wrap reports that Rodriguez is in prison on a plea deal stemming from an early 2017 arrest for “operating an international steroid distribution ring”. TMZ says he is also being investigated by the DA for “conspiracy to distribute anabolic steroids and money laundering”. Speaking of Marky Mark, The Wrap said:
In a recorded phone call from the Brooklyn Detention Center in New York, Rodriguez told YouTube user Jon Bravo — who identifies himself as a filmmaker — that the actor was involved in his illegal operation.
“This is an individual that’s very well-known and will help me in extending into a market that I’m very interested in,” Rodriguez said, referring to the market of A-list celebrities. “The individual’s name is Mark Wahlberg.”
And of Roman Reigns, Rodriguez said (also via The Wrap):
“One of them in-particular is a very famous wrestler by the name of Roman Reigns,” Rodriguez said. “He was originally introduced to me by one of the informants.”
Rodriguez also named Josh in his hit prison jam Pumpin’ Wit Da Starz. Ok, that does not exist either but lord does this guy like to sing! Naturally both Mark and Roman have issued categorical denials of any involvement with Rodriguez or his company, the laughably generic sounding Wellness Fitness and Nutrition. Mark says he’s never even used steroids! Rodriguez begs to differ.
“[Wahlberg] was a really good person, but as it started to get more in-depth — our relationship — he just started to become a little bit more demanding,” Rodriguez continued on the “Pain and Gain” star. “I just chose to — once I started to see his true colors — to sever my ties.”
This does explain Marky Mark’s history of rage issues….
No word from Josh yet but I wouldn’t think steroids would be his drug of choice. But I guess no never know!
