Jack Antonoff Has Already Moved On After Breaking Up With Lena Dunham

On Tuesday Lena Dunham and Jack Antonoff let everyone know that they had called it quits after five and a half years of dating. And apparently about five and a half five seconds after they called it quits, Jack moved on.

A source tells UsWeekly that Lena and Jack’s relationship is absolutely over after ending in December, adding that he has moved on and is “seeing someone else.” The source says Jack’s new person is a musician. Cue up the “IS IT LORDE?!?” murmurs. But how is Lena Dunham handling things? I know I’m making it all about her, but I figured she’d end up doing that herself, so I’ll save some time and get there first. A source says that Lena probably wouldn’t be pissed that Jack is already dating.

“Lena doesn’t wish him ill will. He was her first love. Their split was mutual.”

Then again she might not have hit the ill will stage just yet. Right now it seems like she’s still stuck in the “We still have nothing but love” part of the breakup. E! News says that Lena took to Instagram with a live story on Tuesday night to explain how she was doing. She might not have gotten an engagement ring from Jack while they were together, but she did get a ring from him, and she plans on wearing it forever. Because the non-Western world doesn’t break up or something?

“I’m wearing this ring that Jack gave me and I’ll always wear it, because love is a really cool, powerful, eternal thing and it doesn’t have to be defined the way we in Western culture define it as beginnings and ends.”

I can’t wait to hear Jack’s next album. I’m sure there’s going to be a lot of great material on Can you please stop wearing a symbol of our eternal love? It’s creeping my current girlfriend out.
