Louis C.K. Was Redubbed

Semi-repentant chronic masturbator Louis C.K. did some voiceover work for Disney XD cartoon series Gravity Falls. Because no one, especially a children’s television network, wants their brand associated with a publicly shamed creepbag, his character has been redubbed. Won’t anyone think of the publicly shamed creepbags?

Louis had guest-voiced the recurring character of The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity (TOO EASY) in three episodes. They’ve been redubbed with the voice of Gravity Falls’ creator Alex Hirsch, according to EW.

“The role was rerecorded approximately one month ago and new versions of three episodes are now on the Disney XD schedule around the world,” a spokesperson for the Disney Channel told EW. “Series creator and executive producer Alex Hirsch is now credited as playing the character.”

In what could be considered some squicky foreshadowing, The Horrifying Sweaty One-Armed Monstrosity is a giant head with a giant arm that’s constantly “trying to get people to jump in his mouth.” Ok, the giant sweaty head commanding you to “get in my mouth” was nightmare fuel enough, and then you cast The Sweaty One-Handed Sexually Harassing Pud-Puller.

Seriously, this is why I’m never having kids. Cartoons are EFFED nowadays. One of my nephews LOVES The Good Dinosaur. Have you WATCHED that horror film? The villains are these totally terrifying vultures with crazy satanic eyes and big knifey teeth that will psychologically scar a child for life. And the main characters, a sensitive young dinosaur that has to discover his ferocity and a semi-feral caveboy, DROP ACID in one scene? Remember when cartoons weren’t obviously being created by people on meth or those with a grudge against anyone under the age of 12?
