Open Post: Hosted By The Bird Who Can Sing The iPhone Ringtone

Tap on over to the sidelines, Tap Dancing Cockatiel, because there’s a new highly talented cockatiel on the scene to mesmerize us with its skills. Although, this cockatiel’s talent only comes out when its upset. You know, like how my best talent (read: deep throating a raw cookie dough log) comes out when I’m upset (read: a dude on Grindr blocks me after he asks me for a topless pic and I send him one).

Vimeo user Ben Pluimer posted a video on his page of his friend’s cockatiel singing out the iPhone default ringtone. Ben says that the iCock usually lets out a ringtone through its mouth when it’s upset. Like when Ben’s friend gets ready to leave, the iCock lets out a cry of abandonment by pretending to be a ringing iPhone. Take it away, iCock!

Maybe Ben’s friend’s cockatiel imitates an iPhone, because like most humans, Ben’s friend only truly loves his iPhone. So his cockatiel pretends to be an iPhone in hopes that he will stay with it and show it the true love and devotion he shows his iPhone. And I just upset myself so much with that theory that I want to cry out the sound of the iPhone default ringtone.
