Here’s More Details About Track Palin’s Arrest, And Yes It Was A Mess

Yesterday, Mieka brought us the news that one of the former First Sons of Alaska, 28-year-old Track Palin, was arrested on domestic violence charges on Saturday. At the time we only knew that Track’s latest act of violent foolery involved his dad Todd Palin (seen above with Mama Grizzly in 2010). Now we know that the incident did involve Todd, specifically Todd getting his head repeatedly bashed in by his son’s fist. TLC is probably slapping themselves in the face for canceling Sarah Palin’s show way too early and losing out on sad and messy family situations like this one.

The police report was released last night, and the Anchorage Daily News says that Wasilla officer Adam LaPointe writes that Track and Todd’s fight happened over a truck. Track called his dad earlier on Saturday and said he was coming over to pick up the truck. Todd told Track not to come over because Track was high on booze and pain pills. But Track told his dad he was going to come over anyway to “beat his ass.” In Track Palin’s defense, the Palins probably end most of their phone calls with each other by saying, “I’m fixin’ to beat yo ass!” That’s just the Palin way.

When Track showed up to his family’s house in Wasilla to take his dad to WhoopYoAssTown, Todd met him at the door with a gun in hand. The report claims that Track broke a window, jumped through it, tackled his dad to the ground and hit Todd in the head several times. Todd was able to escape his son’s wrath as Sarah Palin called the police and told them her son was “freaking out” and on “some type of medication.

The police showed up and found Todd with cuts and blood on his face. They also found Sarah who was “visibly upset.” Track was inside the house by himself. At first, he refused to come out and watched the police from the porch and roof. He also became the Alaskan Conrad Hilton when he declared that the police officers were “peasants.”

“Track stood on the porch. Communication was attempted which failed due to Track yelling and calling myself and other officers peasants and telling us to lay our guns on the ground before approaching the residence.”

Track eventually came out and was arrested.  He was charged with felony first-degree burglary and misdemeanor fourth-degree assault, and his bail was set at $5,000. He has a hearing on December 27.

Track, who served in the U.S. Army, is still on probation from a plea deal he took after he was charged with domestic violence for allegedly punching and kicking his girlfriend in January 2016. At that time, Sarah said that her son suffers from PTSD and blamed Obama for him allegedly beating up his girlfriend. Some veterans didn’t like Sarah blaming domestic abuse on PTSD.

I don’t know what’s more peak Palin: Track wrestling a gun out of his daddy’s hands while fighting over a truck, or that Palin family drunken brawl at a snowmobile party. Okay, definitely the snowmobile party, but the father/son truck fight is definitely a sad country song just waiting to be crooned out by Alan Jackson, and yes it’ll be called “Thanks again, Obama.
