Many actresses are planning to do a silent protest against sexual harassment in Hollywood by wearing black to the Golden Globes and other awards show, and there’s one person who is not impressed and that’s Rose McGowan.
Rose tweeted that their intended silent protest has a giant flaw. That would be the silent part. Rose closed the tweet with a snippy barb. Cue Rose’s former Charmed castmate Alyssa Milano finally giving away all of her Marchesa to charity and ghosting Georgina Chapman out of sheer terror.
Actresses, like Meryl Streep, who happily worked for The Pig Monster, are wearing black @GoldenGlobes in a silent protest. YOUR SILENCE is THE problem. You’ll accept a fake award breathlessly & affect no real change. I despise your hypocrisy. Maybe you should all wear Marchesa.

Nobody show Rose that footage of Hollywood grande dame Meryl giving Roman Polanski a standing ovation. I’d fear for her safety!
UsWeekly says that at least 30 actresses are reportedly planning on wearing black to the Golden Globes on January 7. Meryl was asked about the rumored protest and probably answered in one of her many accents. She should start combining them like a verbal Blizzard from Dairy Queen. Maybe Danish mixed with Creole mixed with cuneiform!
“I don’t know. I’m not talking. You gotta tune in, don’t ya?”
Rose seems to despise shapeshifter Meryl a little more than the other actresses she considers to be traitors to womanhood.
It’s not the first time the former Charmed star has taken aim at Streep, who is nominated for a Globe for her role in The Post. Earlier this month she blasted the Oscar winner over an article in which Streep claimed that the Weinstein allegations were “the most gargantuan example of disrespect.”
“No, Meryl, IT’S A F—KING CRIME,” McGowan tweeted on December 8. “You are such a lie.”
The Golden Globes are fun to watch because everyone’s shitfaced and weird winners are chosen. Sometimes actors are in the bathroom when they win something. So, there’s really no need to wear black to the show. All of the women should just go and drink in the bathroom as a protest during the ceremony and never come back.
