Lindsay Lohan Is Still Hoping For A “Mean Girls” Sequel

December 7, 2017 / Posted by:

I’m pretty sure Lindsay Lohan wakes up each day and spins a wheel of film options, and whatever it lands on is what she’ll peddle to the press that today. The Little Mermaid pitch didn’t exactly go well, so surprise, surprise: today, it landed on Mean Girls, again

E! News says LiLo was with White Oprah (Dina Lohan) at The Daily Mail’s Christmas party where she was asked about what she was up to. She denied that she was shacking up with that Korean bodybuilder, but she did gush about her new love: Dubai. Lindsay Lohan is fleeing creditors a global citizen, so she’s left London and is now frolicking in the UAE and Thailand; burkini shoots and all. But Thai sensible swimsuit shoots don’t keep the lights on like a movie salary, so she’s pitching Mean Girls 2 even if Rachel McAdams isn’t picking up the phone:

Mean Girls 2 the movie — this is the importance. We need Rachel McAdams! We need the whole cast back! I’d love to do it again. We had so much fun making it. Mark Waters is such a great director, Tina Fey is an amazing writer, Paramount was great to work with — we all had a blast.”

The importance! I guess it is the importance since Tyra Banks didn’t exactly say LiLo would be invited back for Life-Size 2. But somewhere poor Amanda Seyfried is having to explain to Regina, er, Rachel that she never agreed to do this and Cady is just being a lying grotzky bitch. Lacey Chabert, well, I assume she’ll do anything to get off the Hallmark Channel.
