Bryan Singer Swears He Didn’t Get Fired From The Queen Biopic For Being A Mess

The Queen biopic lost its director this week when prolific twink hunter Bryan Singer was given his “Bye Bitch!” papers for reportedly causing a bigger on-set mess than a bunch of drunks girls doing Bohemian Rhapsody at a karaoke bar (I have witnessed this years ago and I’m still trying to forget that ear-killing sound). Bryan was accused of no-showing several times and throwing something during a fight with Rami Malek, who plays Freddie Mercury. But according to Bryan himself, he’s the real victim here! Those diarrhea-hearted shit demons at Fox kicked him out for being sick and for caring for a sick parent. Bryan should’ve laid it on thicker. He should’ve said that he also had to care for the sick puppy he rescued from a burning building.

After Fox told the world that they de-asshole’d the Queen biopic Bohemian Rhapsody by dropping Bryan Singer, he gave his side of the story, and yes his side of the story reeks of the shit fumes pooting out of a bull’s ass. via Deadline

“With fewer than three weeks to shoot remaining, I asked Fox for some time off so I could return to the U.S. to deal with pressing health matters concerning one of my parents. This was a very taxing experience, which ultimately took a serious toll on my own health. Unfortunately, the studio was unwilling to accommodate me and terminated my services. This was not my decision and it was beyond my control.

Rumors that my unexpected departure from the film was sparked by a dispute I had with Rami Malek are not true. While, at times, we did have creative differences on set, Rami and I successfully put those differences behind us and continued to work on the film together until just prior to Thanksgiving. I wanted nothing more than to be able to finish this project and help honor the legacy of Freddie Mercury and Queen, but Fox would not permit me to do so because I needed to temporarily put my health, and the health of my loved ones, first.”

Bryan may have a parent who is sick, but that probably isn’t the reason why he was fired. Deadline also reports that 20th Century Fox didn’t renew their three-picture deal with him and his production company had to move their offices off Fox’s lot.

Companies love one thing and one thing alone and that’s MONAY! And Fox is losing money by firing Bryan and stopping production until they find a new director. So I’m not buying Bryan’s reason for his firing, and really, he should’ve just shut his mouth and let others tell stories from the set about how he’s a flaky taint wart who throws crap during fights. Because those stories are charming tales told by Mother Goose compared to the other kind of stories we’ve heard, and will probably hear more of 3..2…
