Hot Slut Of The Day!

Danica Roem, the transgender woman (and singer of heavy metal band Cab Ride Home) who took down the ass wart-encrusted demon behind Virginia’s anti-trans bathroom bill!

It’s been a year since some of us woke up surrounded by empty Mike’s Hard Lemonade bottles, Three Musketeers wrappers and burnt-out weed buds after spending the previous night filling our mouths with as many soul and mind-numbing substances as possible while watching a mutated cat hairball become our new overlord. But today, some of us opened our eyes and felt a strange, weird, foreign feeling. No, I’m not talking about how my butt plug fell out in the middle of the night and I woke up feeling empty up in there. I’m talking about feeling happiness while actually watching election results.

Chris Hurst, whose girlfriend was shot and killed on live TV, won a spot in Virginia’s House of Delegates after beating a politician who was endorsed by the NRA. Ashley Bennett, who was pissed off by a New Jersey’s politician’s sexist joke and ended up running for his seat, won his seat last night. And also in Virginia, 33-year-old Danica Roem shit all over the 73-year-old self-proclaimed Chief Homophobe of his state Del. Robert G. Marshall. At least three transgender people won elections last night, including Danica, Andrea Jenkins (city council) in Minneapolis and Lisa Middleton (city council) in Palm Springs, CA.

During his 13-term reign of terror on the LGBTQ community (and others) in Virginia’s 13th district, the Chief Homophobe showed his love for equality by proposing a ban on out gays serving in the Virginia National Guard, sponsoring a state amendment that would’ve made same-sex marriage illegal, and becoming the godfather devilfather of Virginia’s failed “bathroom bill.” The Chief Homophobe lost to Danica by nine percentage points.

After winning a seat in Virginia’s House of Delegates, Danica gave this speech to her supporters:

“This is the important stuff. We can’t get lost in discrimination. We can’t get lost in B.S. We can’t get lost tearing each other down.

When you champion inclusion, when you champion equality, and you focus on the issues that unite us, like building up our infrastructure, taking care of our roads, making sure our teacher pay isn’t the lowest in Northern Virginia … that’s the sort of stuff, those are the issues that you’ve got to focus on as a delegate, that you’ve got to focus on as a candidate. Because that’s what impacts everyone’s life, every single day.

I want to make a point here that no matter what you look like, where you come from, how you worship, who you love, how you identify, and yeah, how you run, that if you have good public policy ideas, if you are well qualified for office, bring those ideas to the table, because this is your America, too. This is our commonwealth of Virginia, too.”

And I’m going to tell myself that Danica gave that speech from inside a women’s restroom as the Chief Homophobe burst into flames before turning to ash from getting his gay-hating ass beat by a transgender woman. Poetic Justice isn’t only the name of my favorite Janet Jackson movie, it’s also the shit that Danica dropped on the Chief Homophobe last night.
