Joe Jonas And Sansa Stark Are Engaged

After less than a year of dating, 28-year-old Joe Jonas and 21-year-old Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark from Game of Thrones) have decided to make it a permanent thing by getting married. How I hope he keeps the Baby Magnum P.I. moustache for his wedding day. There’s nothing more romantic than wiping a snot sniffle out of your upper lip warmer.

Joe and Sophie made the announcement with corresponding Instagram posts. An Instagram engagement announcement from two people in their 20s (and one being a singer) made me picture Joe belting out a bad cover of Paula Abdul’s “Will You Marry Me” with Sophie in the puppy face filter. But it was much classier than that.

I said yes.

Joe posted the same Jared catalog picture of their perfectly manicured hands and that giant ring, but with the caption: “She said yes.”

This is the first engagement for both of them. People says that Joe’s brothers Kevin and Nick Jonas congratulated him on his engagement in the comments. Nick then went one further by posting the same ring picture to Twitter, saying, “I love you both so much.” If you’re someone that likes drama, you might be wondering what Joe Jonas’ ex Demi Lovato had to say about the whole thing. According to UsWeekly, she’s happy for them.

But the real question will be…what will Joe and Sophie allow Nick to wear to the wedding? Whatever tuxedo situation they put him in, he’s going to show up to the ceremony with the sleeves ripped off and his buff biceps bulging down the aisle. Joe and Sophie should just accept the truth now: unless they’re okay with losing a damage deposit, they should rent groomsman Nick a sleeveless jacket.
