Tyrese Is Being Investigated For Child Abuse Allegations

Tyrese Gibson is being investigated by Los Angeles County Child and Family Services based on claims made by his ex-wife of overzealous spanking. According to TMZ, Norma Gibson accused Tyrese of spanking “his 10-year-old daughter so hard she couldn’t sit”. Unfortunately, that’s not all. Norma is also trying to get a restraining order that will prevent Tyrese from physically disciplining their daughter Shayla at all. Norma is also seeking full physical and legal custody of Shayla because she’s afraid Tyrese might spirit their daughter away to Dubai and she’s not down with that “Not Without My Daughter” type of life.

Of course Tyerse has already claimed he’s innocent and that he only “struck her once on the bottom” while Norma says he “beat” her about “10 – 12 times”. Tyrese’s extremely professional and diplomatic lawyer said, according to TMZ:

“She’s a lying piece of shit. Tyrese is devastated. He’s a good guy and I will prove that.”

Goot. Lort. Always unpleasant when children are involved. Tyrese responded using Instagram, his most favorite means of communication.

He’s clearly both touched and out of touch.

Tyrese recently used Instagram to get into a public beef with Duane “The Rock” Johnson because Hobbs (played by The Rock) is getting his own Fast and Furious franchise spin off and, according to Tyrese (via Huffington Post), “#FastFamily is just that a family……. We don’t fly solo.”

In case you didn’t already know, Tyrese is not the sharpest tool in the shed. Remember when he got trolled by Amber Tamblyn thinking he was talking to Amber Rose? Please do yourself a favor and go back and read or reread Michael K’s coverage of that episode. I am perimenopausal so I literally peed my pants (just a little!) laughing.

Whether or not Tyrese is a spanker or a whooper is for the authorities to decide. Whether or not Tyrese is a slut-shaming nincompoop with delusions of grandeur and an ego as fragile as a mummy’s dick (one touch and poof: Dust) is for me to decide. Tyrese, J’accuse!
