Open Post: Hosted By Becky G Getting Kicked Off The Stage

If the name “Becky G” causes your brain to burp up an error 404, you’re not alone. The same thing happened to Fifth Harmony’s security.

Becky G (which sounds like a 90s rap name Rebecca Gayheart might’ve used) was the Yellow Power Ranger in the turd-tastic Power Rangers movie starring Elizabeth Banks, and in 2014, she had a sort-of-hit with Shower, a chipmunk yodel of a song that may or may not get a lot of play on my iTunes playlist. Becky G is opening for Fifth Harmony on the Latin America leg of their world tour, and during a show in Buenos Aires last night, she ran on stage as the group performed Miss Work From My Head (or whatever that song is called).

Becky G, seen in the gallery below at the Despicable Me 3 premiere, just wanted to wrap Argentina’s flag around 5H member Dinah Jane, but security mistook her for a crazed stage-crashing stan who wanted to suffocate a Harmony with a flag and dragged her off. Someone should’ve dragged that security guard to a dictionary so that he could look up the word SUPERSTAR and see Becky G’s picture next to “example.”

Eventually one of the Harmonies collected Becky G from backstage and brought her out.

Becky G joked about it on Twitter and spit out an explanation. Dinah’s outfit ripped and her ass meat fell out so Becky G ran to her rescue with a cover-up. Not only should Fifth Harmony shower (I’m not proud of that pun) Becky G with thank yous for being their Captain Save-A-Ho-From-A-Wardrobe-Malfunction, but they should also thank her for adding a much needed injection of excitement and action to that Ambien-induced number.
