Kevin Hart Kind Of Confirmed He Cheated With A Veiled Apology And Accusations Of Attempted Extortion

It looks like that odd Radar Online video of wee shrieky person Kevin Hart in the backseat of a car at 5 AM in Miami with a mysterious woman WAS him creeping around on his pregnant wife. It was? To me, that video looked like she had asked him to check and see if there were any spinach bits in her grille or bats in her nose caves.

Kevin posted what appears to be an apology to his wife Eniko Parrish and family on Instagram yesterday. He also revealed that he was apologizing because someone tried to blackmail him for what he did (which he didn’t specify but it probably wasn’t forgetting to leave the seat down). Thankfully, he refrained from using a sub-standard meme this time.

Complex reports that Kevin acknowledged that he had made a big mistake and that he wasn’t perfect in the vid. And that someone tried to make a buck off his horniness.

“I should make smart decisions, and recently I didn’t. I’m not perfect, I’m not gonna sit here and claim to be in any way, shape or form… At the end of the day, I simply just gotta do better, but I also will not allow someone to make financial gain off of my mistakes.”

TMZ claims that his attempted blackmailer is a woman, and that she was the one who took the video of Kevin and his backseat girl.

Sources tell TMZ a woman has allegedly demanded money from Kevin after shooting a video with him in which Kevin and the woman are engaged in “sexually suggestive” conduct. We are told it is NOT a sex tape, but looks like it is a prelude to sex. We’re told that at a point in the tape when the action is the heaviest, you cannot actually see Kevin.

In his defense, at least it sounds like he’s not against going downtown on a girl. Women like that I’m told.

And the incriminating video is a trilogy! The car footage was only part 1! There was some hotel room footage! Wait, so was this chick hiding in the closet or in cahoots with Backseat Betty or what?

Sources who have seen the video tell TMZ there are several clips. The first appears to show a woman and Kevin in a club getting cozy. The tape then cuts to a bed, where you don’t see the people in the bed … but hear creaking and what could be people having sex. You never see Kevin in the 2nd clip. The 3rd clip shows 2 people milling around a room, one of them looks vaguely like Kevin.

Eh, it sounds like the Matrix trilogy of sex tapes. The first part was great but two and three were a mess (except for the highway scene in Reloaded when Larry Fishburne overturned an Escalade with a samurai sword *chortle*).

Sources from Kevin’s side told TMZ that they can’t comment on the situation because “law enforcement is involved” and it could jeopardize “the investigation.” The FBI reportedly knows the name of the suspect. It’s also been revealed that she contacted Kevin’s people anonymously and made several demands for money. One of them was eight figures. Blackmail Backseat Betty really wanted that summer home, huh?

Our sources say The FBI knows who the woman is who interacted with Kevin, and they either believe she is the one who made the money demand … or someone who got hold of the iPhone that recorded the encounter made the demand. Either way, FBI agents think they know the identity of the culprit.

Oh, and Kevin might not be the only celebrity involved in this scandal. TMZ says that the evil mystery (for now) woman might also have captured another celebrity in those videos.

Although they do say the woman who is on the various videos has had sexual relations with another celebrity — a TV star — and they believe he might be the one in the bedroom videos.

Kevin and Eniko have been married for little over a year, and he has two kids from a previous marriage. Part of me admires Kevin for going public because blackmail is evil. But the judgey wife part of me thinks that he’d absolutely be minus one Instagram post if he hadn’t gotten caught. Check out Kevin’s apology below.
