Aaron Carter Brought His Life Problems To “The Doctors”

Aaron Carter’s life is currently in what one might call a low point. Not to mention that the reflection Aaron Carter sees when he looks in the mirror is one of a dude who could use a relaxing weekend in a a quiet cabin far away from cars and Twitter (or at the very least, a long nap).

In short, Aaron’s got some problems. So Aaron went on The Doctors last month to get some answers. His episode aired today and, much like Aaron’s current life situation, it was a bit of a mess.

Aaron admits that life isn’t great for him at the moment, and that his relationship with his family is, to put it bluntly, fucked. He doesn’t talk with Nick Carter or his sister Angel Carter. He claims Nick once sent him a picture of Whitney Houston in a casket with the caption “RIP.” His father, Robert Carter, died in May. His older sister Leslie Carter died in 2012. Aaron is still grieving over both deaths, and he’s still dealing with some messed-up stuff that happened between him and his father (like his father allegedly holding a gun to Aaron’s head and firing it into the ground). It’s pretty heavy.

Aaron said a few months ago that he’s skinnier because of a hiatal hernia. Aaron said on The Doctors that he thinks his weight loss might be more serious than that. Aaron admitted that he was afraid he might be HIV positive. He was weighed on the show, and a six-foot-tall Aaron clocked in at 115 pounds. He also claims that online bullying has taken a physical toll on him. Although he likes his face, which he claims looks the way it does because of frequent trips to the dermatologist for filler injections.

Aaron took an HIV test and a drug test before the show. Aaron tested negative for HIV and AIDS. As for the drug test, there was no crack in his system. That’s good, I guess? But he did test positive for weed, opiates, and benzos. Aaron’s sister Leslie died of an overdose with Xanax in her system.

The Doctors didn’t just shamelessly exploit Aaron’s sad problems for ratings, right? I mean, they totally did, but apparently they also wanted to help him. According to TMZ, after the show was done filming, The Doctors strongly suggested Aaron check into rehab. They reportedly also volunteered to pay for it. A source claims that Aaron responded by angrily storming off set, getting into his car and driving from Los Angeles to Florida.

A rep for Aaron calls bullshit on TMZ’s story, saying that Aaron didn’t storm off, but left “quietly and professionally” after taping. My question is did he leave in a car? While I think it might have been a mistake for Aaron to turn down a rehab visit, I’m absolutely sure he shouldn’t be driving anywhere.
