Beyoncé’s Famous Friends Celebrated Her Birthday With Some Beyoncé Cosplay

September 5, 2017 / Posted by:

In case your friends posting all over Instagram and Facebook this weekend about how Beyoncé changed their lives didn’t give you a hint, Queen B turned 36 yesterday. She managed to snatch the Labor Day focus off BBQ and summertime sadness, and onto herself for the highest holiday in the Beyhive’s calendar.

But Bey’s day wasn’t celebrated how us normal folks might do. We have happy hour margaritas and inevitable tears about accomplishing jack shit. Beyoncé has Michelle Obama dressing up in a Beyonce costume for an artistic photo shoot.

People magazine reports a slew of her family and friends (Like Michelle Obama, as seen above) went into the Lemonade closet and put on one of the costumes seen in the “Formation” music video. Sadly, the lewk was not the one where ‘Yonce rocked a Gucci dress and combat boots on top of a cop car. Michelle Obama would have given Attorney General Jeff Sessions a heart attack if she had done that, and the White House can’t afford to lose anymore minions!

Michelle was joined by Poor Michelle (aka Michelle Williams), Kelly Rowland, Serena Williams, Miss Tina Knowles Lawson, Jay-Z’s mom and grandma, and Blue Ivy Carter in the photo shoot of Bey reenactments. They were all great sports for playing along, but you know each one of them was secretly fuming, like “Can’t we just take her out to dinner and give her a damn card instead?”

It’s impressive that the former First Lady donned a costume to celebrate her pal. You know that thirsty bitch that is our president is totally going to try to get Melania Trump to out-do her and drum up the base. Ted Nugent’s birthday is in December. That’s ample time to get FLOTUS to grow out some sideburns and get Dolce & Gabbana to outfit her in a rolled-up cowboy hat and camo vest!

Here are some of the other Beyoncé birthday copies.
