Kanye West Was Seen In A T-Shirt That Might Have Been Shading Taylor Swift

Despite a claim that perpetually-disgruntled rap superstar Kanye West is over feuding with serpentine arch-enemy Taylor Swift, his top might say differently. (By “top,” I mean his t-shirt, not Ricardo Tisci.)

TMZ noted that Kanye recently wore a t-shirt that would seem to reference willowy n’ whiny wonder Taylor’s latest multimedia musical offering.

Kanye was spotted at Nobu in Malibu sporting a t-shirt that read “She Is Beyond Good And Evil” on the back. Some might think that’s a tribute to his soulless mom-in-law Kris Jenner, who obviously believes herself to be above your petty moral concerns. But the font matches the one used in Swifty’s lyric video forLook What You Made Me Do.” The song and its official video contain several nods to Kanye, his plastic-surgeried pudding of a wife Kim Kardashian, and heir feud over Kanye’s song “Famous.”

Then again, the front of the t-shirt looks like it has a mug shot of Prince on it. So it could just be a rando tee and Kanye’s idea of a lewk. Cuz’ “She Is Beyond Good And Evil” isn’t the most cutting of potential “Tay Tay Is A Bitch-Ass” dog-whistles. You might even be giving her an ego boost with that one, Yeezy.

In other Tay Tay news (what other kind of news is there now that the Reputation-era has begun), her video collaborator and chief defender, director Joseph Kahn is in no way over the Taylor/Kanye feud. He’s been all over Twitter defending her and their video while taking shots at the Kardashian-Wests. Kimmy was recently quoted as saying that she was firmly on Hillary’s side in the 2016 presidential race and that the only thing she supports President Trump on is their mutual skin tone. She didn’t say that last part but they do tend to match up in coloring. This would be in opposition to her husband’s brief flirtation with playing the Trumpet. Entertainment Weekly says Kahn recently noted this in a tweet:

Speaking of Trump and Taylor, Taylor’s buddy, choreographer, and YouTube star Todrick Hall, slapped at assumptions that Taylor herself might be a secret Trumpet. Swift has been getting flack for not coming out in support of a candidate in last year’s election, and snake haters took that to mean she has a secret recording studio at Mar-A-Lago. Not so, says Todrick to Yahoo! (via People magazine). He has a cameo in the new video and is obviously looking for a Serpent Squad apologist gig. Also, he wants to remind you that he spent last Thanksgiving with Taylor. I bet the stuffing was bland.

“Taylor has never to my knowledge come out and said anything about her being pro-Trump. But people would still rather believe that she is the one who is pushing Trump’s agenda. That was one of the major things that was tweeted at me, and I’m like, ‘So you are mad that you think she might support Donald Trump? But you’re not mad that Kanye has been very openly pro-Trump?’ I don’t understand that.”

And Taylor Swift’s Turkey Day sounds like it was super serious.

“I’ve never felt like there was ever a moment that I couldn’t be myself, and talk about the fact that I’m gay or whatever. At Thanksgiving, we all sat around and talked about it, and there was another one of her friends there who was African-American, and we all sat down and talked about racism and watched 13th on Netflix [Ava DuVernay’s Oscar-nominated documentary] and talked about how important it was.”

I am all for every bit of social justice but sometimes you just want to talk about that night’s impending turkey sandwiches and how yams are totally gross.

As for Taylor herself? Yesterday she resurfaced from her self-imposed snake hibernation to act as a bridesmaid in her best friend Abigail Anderson’s wedding on Martha’s Vineyard.

So, while all of these people are going back and forth about her silliness, she was utilizing her insincerity skills to make like it was all about the bride. Eh, at least they were put to good use.
