Pink No Longer Loathes Christina Aguilera
Pink is back on the music scene, and, while she recognizes there are plenty of Tinseltown cat fights, her and Christina Aguilera’s pussies are quite content, thankyewverymuch. As all things seem to go these days, her get real moment stemmed from a Twitter troll. Everything these days comes from Twitter trolls. Racist shit, bullying, U.S. Presidential “diplomacy”…sometimes all in one Tweet!
Anywho, E! News says the troll didn’t think it was right Pink is getting honored this year with the MTV VMA Michael Jackson Video Vanguard award. Only everlasting LEGENDS like Rihanna and Kanye West deserve that shit. In fact, the only “relevant” video of her career, per the troll, was the “Lady Marmalade” one with Xtina, Lil’ Kim, and the music industry’s face on the milk carton, Mya.

Considering the number of times I took my mom’s feather duster, looped it on the back of my pajamas to pretend I was a burlesque dancer, and reenacted the video at night up in my room when everyone was asleep, I’m inclined to agree with the troll! Kidding, that one where she gets into a powder fight with that hot muscle daddy was also relevant to my sesssssssual awakening, so bugger off, troll!
While defending her seat at that vanguard table, Pink let it slip that she’s swiveled her judgmental chair on Christina when they crossed paths while she was a guest judge on The Voice back in 2016:
“Her and I have had history and it hasn’t always been wonderful. I just think it took us 15 years and I think there was true love and it felt really good.”
No shit, it hasn’t been wonderful. Back when you had to watch Behind The Music with the cavemen to get celeb dirt, Pink said a label exec came to the studio when “Lady Marmalade” was getting recorded, and basically said all the high and mighty notes would be sung in Christina’s goat scream range and those other hussies could take the scraps. Pink was flabbergasted. Did they not know who she was?! She had reenacted a gladiator scene for a Pepsi commercial with TRUE divas like Britney Spears and Enrique Iglesias, for Lawd’s sake! (Oh, and Beyoncé) She deserved a shot, too!
That wasn’t the only beef, either. Longtime collaborator Linda Perry ditched Pink to go with Christina, and that betrayal stank like the set of the “Dirrty” video. Pink said at the time “I don’t think imitation is the highest form of flattery. I think it’s annoying.” Madonna sent over photos of early era Gwen Stefani to Pink with the note “Same!” and the two had a giant diva circle jerk over being the most original broads in town (No, they didn’t.).
Pink does say she has nothing but love for Christina, so let’s hope to GAWD that she ditches those damn ribbon acrobats at the VMAs and reenacts “Lady Marmalade” with her newfound spirit sister. My mom’s feather duster is available!
