Seriously, thank you for this brief ray of sunshine, universe. Good news around here has been scarce lately. Actor Donal Logue’s 16-year-old daughter, Jade, had been missing from Brooklyn, NY since June 26. Thankfully, she has been returned safely to her parents. Donal and his ex-wife Kasey Smith had used social media to raise awareness and plead for Jade’s return. It worked! According to E! Online, Donal’s rep told them:
“Jade is now safely back home with her family. Donal is incredibly thankful for everyone’s support, and especially to the NYPD, FBI and Team Adam NCMEC for her safe return.”
Jade, who is transgender, was reportedly found in North Carolina, according to ABC News. The National Center for Missing & Exploited Children had reported a possible sighting of Jade at a deli in Lancaster, PA last week, but that was obviously false.
Donal enlisted friends like professional badass Danny Trejo to help out in spreading the word about Jade’s disappearance on social media. Donal tweeted once again about Jade after she was found and returned.
Thank you ALL for the love and support. We are good. Kasey and I wish to thank the NYPD. FBI, @MissingKids and countless others.

It seems like this sort of thing RARELY works out and the results are usually tragic. So – good job, everyone! Now Donal Logue can hopefully turn his attention to somehow improving Gotham, because that mess is murdering the Batman mythos for this nerd.
