Open Post: Hosted By Andrew Garfield Nearly Lip-Synching His Wig Off To Whitney Houston

Our current reigning Spider-Man blew the skin off of nipples early this month when he gyrated and threw down moves as White RiRi on Lip Sync Battle. Well, our last Spider-Man, Andrew Garfield, saw Tom Holland’s RiRi drag act and raised him a Whitney drag act.

Michelle Visage and a handful of queens from RuPaul’s Drag Race are touring with the Werq World Tour and it made a stop in London last night. Andrew Garfield is doing Angels In America with Russell Tovey in the West End and so they went to the Werq World Tour last night. The glitter-infused fabulousness that was in the air must’ve made its way into Andrew Garfield’s system and caused him to throw on a wig and serve up some sass, class and a tiny bit of ass. Because he got up and did a lip-synch to Whitney Houston’s version of I’m Every Woman.

No, Andrew didn’t make it rain sequins the way that Tom’s moves did, but he did the best with what he had, which was a brown Carrot Top wig and his street clothes.

At times Andrew’s performance veered into “third-tier Michael Jackson impersonator on a bad day” territory, but when his wig stayed on while doing that flip, I’m sure Whitney did this in heaven:

And here’s pictures from the other day of Michelle giving you “Long Island bail bondsmen receptionist circa 1988” glamour in London.
