Uncle Fat, the don of the monkey mafia in Bangkok who has been put on a diet after he got morbidly obese from tourists feeding him junk food!

Uncle Fat is just one of the many wild monkeys who roam free in Bangkok, but he’s become a local celebrity thanks to the massive amount of chunk he’s put on his macaque body from all the trash food he’s eaten up. The Associated Press says that a normal weight for a macaque is about 20 pounds, but the number “60” looks back at Uncle Fat when he steps on the scale. Wildlife officials learned about Uncle Fat, who got his nickname from the locals, through social media and decided to catch him and put him on a diet before it’s too late. Officials say that it wasn’t easy to catch Uncle Fat, because he had a pack of minions defending their leader. Tourists are the ones who mostly fed Uncle Fat junk food like chips and soda, but his bitches also brought him crap.

“It was not easy to catch him. He was the leader of his pack, and when I tried to go in, I had to fight off a flock of them with sticks.

He had minions and other monkeys bringing food for him but he would also re-distribute it to younger monkeys. After he ate food given by humans for a while, he developed a fat mass, which became a type of benign tumor. He is now in critical condition where there is a high risk of heart disease and diabetes.”

Uncle Fat has been under vet care since April 27. Gone is his regular diet of junk food and now he’s eating fruits and vegetables. Officials are hoping that Uncle Fat will have to change his name to Uncle Svelte in a few months when he shows off his skinnier body to his minions after being released back into the wild.

Yes, it sucks that Uncle Fat’s fat turned into a TUMAH, but damn, he had it made. I mean, the godfather of the wild monkeys and the kingpin of a junk food empire who just had to sit there as stupid tourists threw bags of snacks at his feet. That is the life! Hopefully when he returns to his throne in a few months, he’ll train his minions and stupid tourists to only throw fruits, vegetables and Snackwell’s at his feets.
