Four Duggar Daughters Are Suing InTouch Weekly And The City Of Springdale
Two years ago, InTouch Weekly took the volume out of Michelle Duggar’s teased-to-the-ends-of-earth hair when they reported that her rotten potato of a son, Josh Duggar, had been investigated for child molestation when he was a teenager. The names of his five victims were kept from public eyes, but it later came out that some of his victims were his own sisters. Jessa and Jill Duggar (seen above with Jill’s serial killer transient-looking ass husband) later said in a Fox News interview that they were two of Josh’s victims and they have forgiven him. Jessa and Jill may have forgiven that dark-sided, child-touching Porky Pig, but I guess they’re still mad at InTouch Weekly, the City of Springdale, Arkansas and the police, because they’re suing them all for breach of privacy.
Josh molested four of his sister and Jessa and Jill were the only two who spoke out, but Jinger and Joy Duggar are also part of the lawsuit. TMZ says that in the lawsuit, Jessa, Jill, Jinger and Joy say that they talked to investigators in 2006 when they were all minors. They were promised by investigators that their statements would only be seen by the eyes of police and child services officials. The four Js say that Arkansas law states that police cannot release any information regarding sexual misconduct involving kids.
InTouch Weekly became regular Brenda Starrs when they used the Freedom of Information Act to get the police documents in the investigation against Josh Duggar. InTouch’s coverage put an end to the Duggars’ reign on TLC….for about five minutes. TLC later gave them another show.
In the lawsuit, the four Js echoed what Jessa and Jill said in their interview with Fox News. They say they became victims all over again when InTouch Weekly published that grossness about their family.
The sisters say they’re suing to “protect all children who are victims of abuse.” The City of Springdale basically said that the lawsuit is a waste of the public’s money.
“The claims and allegations in this lawsuit are without merit and are false, and we are confident that the Federal Court will take the time to carefully hear the facts and arguments in this matter … It is unfortunate that now, at this late date, the Plaintiffs have chosen to file a misguided lawsuit against dedicated public servants and seeking damages from public tax dollars.”
Since they’re in the suing mood, the four Js should sue Josh Duggar and their parents for obvious reasons. They should also sue child services for not immediately yanking them out of that unholy house of horrors and placing them with a healthier family (examples of a healthier family: diseased-ridden rats, a pack of wolves, a Baby Abuelita doll, etc…). And they should sue their parents again for forcing them to work as 24/7 nannies and only paying them with goddamn tater tot casserole.
