Alan Thicke’s Widow Claims They Were Trying To Have A Kid
Alan Thicke’s widow Tanya Callau is currently at risk of being sued by Alan’s oldest two sons Brennan and Robin Thicke for alleged acts of gold digging. Brennan and Robin claim that Tanya is trying to get more money from Alan’s estate five months after his death. They also accuse her of threatening to go to the tabloids with her story unless they gave her more money.
Tanya’s lawyer Adam Streisand released a statement yesterday accusing Robin and Brennan of being the ones to run to the press with their family drama, and denying she has gold digger motivations. Tanya has more to say about those allegations, and she said it to TMZ.
She again denied that she’s running a #getmoney game on Alan’s estate. Tanya tells TMZ that she legitimately loved Alan, and not because of his money. Tanya also told a tale of tragic timing. Before Alan died, they were allegedly trying to make a baby. Tanya, 41, and Alan, 69 when he died, had been married since 2005, and they were waiting for Alan’s youngest son Carter (19) to leave the house before they tried for a kid.
Tanya says she froze a bunch of her eggs three years ago and claims they were so serious about having a baby, that they had an architect come by their Santa Barbara house at the beginning of December to start plans on a nursery. Alan passed away on December 12.
Tanya also vaguely addressed this messy situation on Instagram.
Oh Tanya, Tanya, Tanya. If you’re trying to prove to the world that you’re not here for the drama, running to TMZ and vague posting on Instagram isn’t the best way to go about that. I blame her lawyer. If he approved the go-ahead to call up Harvey, then he did her dirty. The least he could have done is make some calls and schedule a tasteful sit-down with Entertainment Tonight. Come on, she’s probably paying you enough, and it sounds like money is tight right now.
