Kerry Washington Might Have Been One Of Chris Rock’s Side Pieces
Chris Rock recently admitted to Rolling Stone that he cheated on his wife Malaak Compton-Rock three times during their 18-year (now done) marriage. The women in question were vaguely described as the following: one famous, one semi-famous, and one who worked in retail. It didn’t take long for us to find out the identity of the famous one. Sources tell Page Six it was his I Think I Love My Wife co-star Kerry Washington.
During that interview with RS, Chris laughs about the fact that he was filming a movie called I Think I Love My Wife while he was literally unsure if he wanted to be married to his real-life wife. There were rumors that Chris was doing a whole lot more than thinking about not being married to his wife during that time. One source verifies that rumor by claiming that not only did Chris and Kerry get together during filming in 2006, but that they had an affair that lasted for six months. The source adds that Malaak found out about the affair. In March 2007, the same month that I Think I Love My Wife was released, Kerry and her fiancé David Moscow called it quits. Oh, the [picture of Horatio Caine putting on sunglasses] Scandal of it all.
A source close to Chris Rock (good to see you keeping busy, David Spade!) tells Page Six they’re not so sure the famous person Chris cheated on his wife with was Kerry Washington. The source says that Chris and Malaak were separated during that time, which means whatever he did was only kind-of cheating.
That same source thinks whatever claims Chris Rock has made about cheating might just be part of his act. For example, Chris Rock jokes that he cheated with a member of Destiny’s Child who wasn’t Beyonce. If Chris is telling the truth, then maybe that would solve the mystery of the sort-of famous one. Michelle Williams, care to comment?
Kerry Washington plays a scheming jezebel who tries to seduce Chris Rock’s character in I Think I Love My Wife. Except in the film, Chris keeps it in his pants. But in real life…errr, not so much. I bet a whole lot of Hollywood wives and husbands just read this news and nervously called up their spouse’s agents. “Hey listen, if a script called Thinking About Putting It In Someone New lands on your desk, do me a favor and just throw it out, okay?”
