DMX Went To Rehab Again

TMZ says that bellowing hip-hop artist and father of multitudes, DMX, has entered rehab once more. He reportedly checked into a facility in Southern California on Thursday night. The rapper’s manager, Pat Gallo, and ex-girlfriend, Tashera Simmons, supposedly encouraged him to seek help. DMX has recently been missing performances (are they sure he wasn’t just arrested before these shows?) and his alcohol intake had his loved ones concerned. This isn’t his first stint in rehab. Dude’s kind of all over the place.

As we first reported, X had to cancel 3 shows this week due to what his rep called a “medical emergency.” We’re told he flew to Cali to get help because he felt he was “moving to a dark place” and wanted to make sure he stayed on the right path.

Sources say that DMX was “drinking heavily” before a show in Brooklyn last week. I feel you, DMX. I was sad that Girls ended, too. Pat issued an apology to the fans for the postponed shows.

“It is important right now that he take some time off to focus on his health so that he can be a better father, friend and entertainer.”

He added, “We are eternally grateful for the outpouring of concern and support that has poured in. We ask that you please keep X in your prayers as he embraces your support.”

So, if you’re one of his million children, start Googling “booze jails, Southern California” and then have your mother drop you off, because he probably owes you and your siblings some money. There’s enough of these children to canvas every rehab facility in Southern California, so one of them is bound to find the right one and can rally the others. Also, you should move on this quickly before he starts sniffing the asses of the female counselors or fellow female patients and knocks one up. That would mean you would get a smaller piece of the non-existent pie.
