Demi Lovato Is Now The Proud Owner Of A Giant Lion Tattoo On Her Hand

After Demi Lovato attended the Time 100 Gala in New York City on Tuesday night, Entertainment Tonight says she got a lion face tattooed onto her hand. Personally, if I had just spent a good part of my evening wrapped in Spanx and walking around in heels that make my feet wish they could Red Shoes themselves, the last thing I’d want to do is inflict any more pain on myself. But Demi is clearly stronger or stupider than me, and she ended her night by getting a huge hand tattoo.

Demi added to her (sometimes regrettable) growing collection of tattoos at Bang Bang Tattoos, and of course she documentedĀ her experience on Snapchat and Instagram, because what’s the point of doing something if you can’t get maximum attention out of it? It didn’t take long before people saw Demi’s lion tattoo and thought “That looks familiar.” Demi hopped on Twitter andĀ said she wasn’t copying anyone.

Demi isn’t the first famous person to get Simba’s cousin drawn on their body and she won’t be the last. But as the newest member in a club that most recently includes Justin Bieber, she’s going to have to assume the title of copycat for the time being. Because once something has reached Bieber, it’s pretty much as far removed from original or unique as you can get.
