The Canadian Beaver King of Cattle!
As always, Dlisted brings you the latest news last! Today’s Hot Slut of the Day made the news last week, but whoever said that there’s a time limit on honoring a cattle-herding beaver is a trick you should never listen to, because they have no idea what they’re talking about. HuffPo Canada says that ranchers, Adrienne Ivey and her husband Aaron, were checking out their 150 cattle on their ranch near Ituna, Saskatchewan on Good Friday when they found their cattle mesmerized by a beaver. It’s not the first or the millionth time that a bunch of beef has been mesmerized by a beaver. And it won’t be the last.
It’s as if that beaver was Jesus and the cattle were his disciples. Of if you want a more holy example, it’s as if that beaver was Beyonce (Beavyonce?) and the cattle were the Beyhive. When the beaver would move, the cattle would follow and when the beaver stopped, the cattle stopped. We need to all make peace with the fact that beavers will soon be our leaders, because first they get the cows, and then the dogs, and then the cats and then us! Behold, cattle whipped by beaver:
When Rancher Adrienne posted this on Facebook, she said that the beaver was most likely looking for a place to build a dam she also called this the most Canadian thing to ever Canada in Canada (and everywhere else):
“We talk about how awesome our Canadian beef is, but a beaver leading cattle around? It’s the most Canadian thing ever!”
Those cows aren’t moose wearing mountie hats and that beaver isn’t wearing a Celine Dion shirt and none of them are saying “sorry” a million times, so I’m not sure if this is the most Canadian thing to ever happen, but I am sure that this is the most exciting to ever happen in Ituna, Saskatchewan! And hopefully, this really is only the beginning and beavers will become our new overlords and save us all.
