Lindsay Lohan Is Hosting A Social Media Prank Show

Never has a word looked so completely wrong superimposed over a person. Lindsay Lohan has found herself a new gig that is only a tiny bit less confusing than designing headscarves.

Lindsay announced today that she is hosting a new social media prank show called The Anti-Social Network. Hosting a social media prank show makes total sense, since Lindsay has years of experience trying to trick people on social media.

I’m guessing Lindsay’s planned sequel to Mean Girls and her star turn in The Skanky Trout are on hold right now, because it appears she’s really going full-throttle with this new show. According to the promo that was released, The Anti-Social Network is basically Punk’d, but with social media, a person desperate to be on television (Lindsay Lohan) and prizes (some spray tan, a gum wrapper, a Herbie Fully Loaded DVD). Lindsay calls the shots for 24 hours while some poor rube does her bidding. 24 hours? Good lord, that might be the most Lindsay has worked in years. I hope they kept an EMT on set in case she fell ill from sheer exhaustion.

As for when Freckl’d will air, well…that’s yet to be determined. Entertainment Weekly says that as of right now, The Anti-Social Network is still being shopped around to networks.

Lindsay Lohan is a diabolical genius. This “prank show” is just a clever cover for her real motivation: to have an unpaid assistant for 24 hours. Let me guess, in a future episode, the first challenge will be to steal her two packs of smokes. The second challenge will be to swing by the pawn shop and see how much they’ll give her for a bag of partially-damaged belly button rings. The third challenge is to come back tomorrow for more challenges. You’ll need to arrive right when Lindsay wakes up. 2pm sharp, and not a minute later!
