Nicki Minaj Has Finally Responded To Remy Ma’s Diss Track
The clap back track everyone was waiting for (and subsequently got bored waiting for, because it was taking too damn long) is finally here. Almost two weeks after Remy Ma lit a metaphorical paper bag filled with dog poop and put it on the door step of Nicki Minaj’s life, Nicki has a response to ShETHER.
As of yesterday, it sounded like Nicki wasn’t going to say anything about the feud between her and Remy Ma. A feud which includes several diss tracks and the involvement of other people. But very early this morning, Nicki tweeted a few bars from a weak track called No Frauds, which required backup in the form of Drake and Lil’ Wayne. Nicki counter-points Remy’s surgery accusations with surgery accusations, and accuses Remy of also using ghostwriters. It’s basically the rap version of “I know you are, but what am I?”
It also came with some handy instructions explaining some of the more Remy-specific references in the lyrics, which is nice, since two weeks is a long time for people to remember the details of this mess.

No Frauds quickly found itself hovering around the top of several iTunes charts, something Nicki made sure to brag about multiple times on Instagram. Nicki also challenged her to a duel of sorts. Nicki offered Remy $500,000 if she’s able to release a hit song in 72 hours and book a talk show without dropping Nicki’s name.
Wait wait, don’t tell me – I think I know what happens next. Remy will respond with a track about how Nicki’s response took so long because it was written by Drake, followed by a tweet telling Nicki to take that $500,000 and get her butt fixed. And then a couple weeks later, Nicki will fire back with a crack about how Remy Ma probably can’t accept the money because that would technically be qualified as getting paid for a job, and all work has to be approved first by her parole officer. There, I just saved us all another three weeks.
