Chance The Rapper Was Just As Skeptical As Everyone Else About Rosario Dawson’s Valentine’s Day

Ah, Valentine’s Day. The perfect day to plant a smooch on that special someone in your life. And maybe to take a picture of it. And also post it to Instagram so that millions of people can share in your love. That’s what Rosario Dawson did with her new man yesterday. Except it happened so many times and with such a varying degree of thirst that many people, including Chance the Rapper, thought it was a stunt. But according to Chance the Rapper, it’s not.

Rosario’s alleged new man is Eric Andre, aka Eric from The Eric Andre Show or Mark the coffee guy from Don’t Trust The B. He also dated Amber Rose for a second back in 2015. The Eric Andre Show is kind of like The Tom Green Show for millennials. Almost everything he does is a stunt in some capacity. Yesterday, Eric posted cheesy PDA-filled pictures of himself and Rosario Dawson on social media. He added heart emojis and hashtags like #myvalentine. He also called her the love of his life. Naturally I assumed it was just a joke. Then Rosario joined in.

Happy Valentines Day my love! #MyCuddlyValentine #Valentines

Rosario and Eric might be giving off a vibe reminiscent of Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes at Scientology’s Love Under The Sea(org) prom. But Eric claims it’s real.

Apparently he decided to provide some proof after Chance the Rapper texted Rosario about her cornball Valentine’s Day antics.

I really want to see is the text conversation that happened between her and Chance the Rapper. I feel like it went something like this:

rosariotext

So there you have it. Eric and Rosario didn’t do it for publicity, they did it because they’re in love. Best of luck to both of you crazy kids. Especially to Rosario. They say that love is blind, but for her sake, I hope it’s also noseblind.
