Captain America Got Into A Twitter Fight With A Famous Racist
Everybody is angry as fuck lately! It’s a tumultuous time in our country, and every day seems to bring some news story, occurrence, or incident that inspires a “WTF?” from (half of?) the United States populace. Everyone has got an opinion, and they will share it on social media! (I’m afraid to launch an investigation into how many followers and friends are quietly hiding my rage baby posts.)
Social media is also the place where you can brawl with the asshole of your choice! Captain America himself, chesty actor Chris Evans, flung his virtual shield at former Imperial Wizard of the KKK (and former Louisiana state rep– which is chilling…) David Duke, on Twitter.
Vanity Fair reports that Chris expressed his dismay over Jeff Sessions being confirmed as our new Attorney General by trolling the dude in the white hood (oh, don’t even try to tell me that the weirdo isn’t still wearing it around the house)!
Following Jeff Sessions’s confirmation as United States attorney general, Chris Evans (a.k.a. Activist Captain America), tweeted about his concern. In the process, he also mentioned former Klan leader David Duke—and started a Twitter war.
“If David Duke….David! Duke! Thinks you’re right, than you are unequivocally wrong. The confirmation of @JeffSessions is beyond words.”
For those of you who don’t allow themselves to be inundated with bad news on the hour, Jeff Sessions is a controversial choice of Trump’s due to his voting record when it comes to civil rights and immigration, as well as having been accused of making racist statements in the past. So, tax fraud enthusiast David didn’t appreciate “a typical dumb actor” dragging his good name into it.
Typical dumb actor – if everything I say is wrong, then when I say I oppose these Zionists wars, you must be for them, Captain America!? https://t.co/fsxQHgzdWD

Evans’s response was to simply tweet out “nuggets of bigotry”—25 of Duke’s own quotes.
You can read those quotes here. They’re the perfect way to start off your weekend (if you want to be depressed and hang your head at man’s inhumanity to man)!
Imperial Wiz didn’t respond to Chris, who closed the library on an anti-evil note.
We can't let hatred be the loudest voice. https://t.co/bqRPRXo453

If superheroes existed in real life, they’d totally be utilizing the Twitter bird to piss off racists online. Chris is from Boston, so he could have just been solely focused on the Pats lately, as opposed to virtually flicking the foreheads of evil people. His pecs are that big because they’re filled with goodness.
