On Monday, Sports Illustrated will release their annual Swimsuit Edition, and we as a people will once again be disappointed by the fact that a G-string wearing Idris Elba isn’t on the cover. Why isn’t it ever a man?! SEXIST EDITION is more like it. But anyway, Page Six says that like last year, SI is planning three different covers. The covers will supposedly star Serena Williams, Lady Dorian Gray and maybe Kate Upton. That’s if Kate Upton’s alleged diva ways didn’t screw her out of a cover.
Kate has been on the cover of SI: Swimsuit Edition twice and being in the 2011 issue helped make her a STAH! A source says SI asked Kate to be in this year’s issue and she would only agree if they put her on the cover. The source says that since Kate has displayed her flawless thespian skills in masterpiece films like The Three Stooges and The Other Woman, her ego has grown to the size of her tits.
“There was drama. Kate demanded that if she did the shoot, that she absolutely must get the cover. She also had a list of photographers and hair and makeup people she would only work with. She was being a big fucking diva. She’s thinks she’s better than everyone because she’s an actress.”
A rep for Sports Illustrated didn’t confirm or deny Page Six’s story. They just said that speculation about who will make the cover is just that, speculation.
On one hand, this is coming from Page Six. But on the other hand, Kate Upton seems like a wreck (Exhibit: A), so this is believable. But I’m with Kate Upton. Who cares if she should be forever kissing SI’s ass for putting her in their magazine in 2011? Who cares if a brick could out-act her? Who cares if it’s a miracle that she still gets cast in movies? Kate Upton is still a world famous superstar actress!
And Sports Illustrated better watch it, because if they don’t give Kate the respect that she deserves, she’s totally not going to thank them when she wins an Oscar for playing Big-Tittied Chick #2 in some Adam Sandler movie.
