Ginger Spice Is Still A Master At Coming Up With WTF Baby Names

January 23, 2017 / Posted by:

January 21st was Baby Spice’s birthday, and it was also the day that Ginger Spice gave birth to her second child, a son she made with her husband Christian Horner. Since Ginger birthed out a baby on Baby’s birthday, she should’ve paid tribute to Emma Bunton by naming her son Blond Pigtails Horner or Platform Sneakers Horner. But instead, Ginger and Christian got all Shakespearean with their kid’s name.

As any WTF baby name aficionado knows, Ginger and her then-man Sacha Gervasi named her first daughter Bluebell Madonna (who’s now 10 years old) . I was hoping that Ginger would stick with the “ice cream brand and pop star” theme by naming her son Breyers Cher. But 44-year-old Geri Halliwell and 43-year-old Christian Horner went with Montague George Hector Horner. Montague. George. Hector. Horner. Those names added up together equal: THE HELL?!

Ginger announced her son’s name on Instagram with an artsy picture of Montague George Hector trying to kick his mom’s hands broken so she’ll be unable to write the name “Montague George Hector Horner” on his birth certificate. That’s what’s going in this picture, right?

Olivia is Christian’s daughter with his ex Beverley Allen.

A source tells The Mirror that the “George” in Montague’s full name is for Ginger’s late friend George Michael. I don’t know why she gave her son the name “Montague,” but I love it. Montague Horner sounds like the name of a European baron who has come to Pine Valley to destroy Erica Kane for buying his family’s company from under his parents’ nose, causing them to spiral into a deep depression. The world definitely needs more kids with the name of a vengeful soap opera villain.

Here’s Monty Horner’s parents at the London premiere of I Am Bolt back in November.
