Flicker Razor!

The FUN!!!! was completely taken out of shaving in the 2000s when the American Safety Razor Company discontinued Flicker. (Note: That sentence is invalid to you freaky ass shaving fetishists. The fun never ends for you as long as shaving cream and razors exist.) ASRC first put Flicker on shelves in 1971 and refreshed its look sometime in the 1980s, because they felt that what the gross shaving experience was missing were great neon colors and an outrageously-shaped razor!

Flicker was reportedly the first ever disposable razor designed exclusively for you wimmuns. Its 5 extra skin-shield blades kept it from cutting you up, apparently, and its “bitten-into jelly-filled cookie” shape supposedly made it easier to handle. Although, I’d like to see someone try to shave their b-hole hairs off with that thing. No, I don’t. If I really wanted to see that, I’m sure I could find it on PornHub.

I guess people just didn’t want to have fun while shaving, because Flicker went away in 2006. Luckily for a small group of Flicker devotees, they can still find their razor of choice on Amazon and eBay. While doing research for this important post, I found this angry comment on an expired Amazon listing for a Flicker:

i am 56 years old. have been using flicker razors since i was 12. the most i ever paid for 1 is 3.99 the less was 59 cents. I will grow hair on my chest face arms and legs before I spend 35.00 for a throw away plastic razor that is not even made as well as they use to be. they rust and become useless before you can use up the 5th blade. you should be arrested for selling this product at this high outrageous price. shame on you!

While I agree that anyone selling one throw-away razor for $35 should be jailed immediately, I also believe that you get what you pay for. And if you want an oUtRaGeous shaving experience, your ass should be prepared to pay an oUtRaGeous price!
