People Were Really Happy To See Brad Pitt Last Night

Brad Pitt has been sort of keeping a low profile while he deals with the never-ending drama of his personal life, but he came out to introduce Moonlight at the Golden Globe awards last night. Apparently the rich and famous of Hollywood were really happy to see Brad Pitt. Some even got out of their chairs and gave him a standing ovation. By the sound of the applause he received, it was as if he had just told everyone that the bar was rimming all shots with coke or that Jon Hamm was giving free horsey rides.

Brad responded to the applause and cheers by looking around the audience like “All this for me? OMG so touched.” It sort of looked like he was stoned. Although he probably wasn’t stoned. I guess it would really all depend on when his next drug test is scheduled for. I’m going to say he just surprised by the response. I’m basing this off the fact that he didn’t mistake that mic sponge for a chocolate donut hole and try to pop it in his mouth.

Moonlight was produced by Brad’s production company, Plan B, so it made sense for him to be at the Golden Globes to present it as a nominee for Best Picture, Drama. But when Moonlight went on to win the award, Brad Pitt didn’t seem to want to join them on stage.

That could have been because he was off in the bathroom dealing with a text from Angelina telling him to knock it off with the PR whoring. Or it could be because he didn’t want to look greedy. After all, he doesn’t need any more Best Drama attention. His divorce has already taken care of that.
