Nicki Minaj’s Ex Safaree Samuels Is Trying To Win Her Back

Nicki Minaj announced on Twitter yesterday that the rumors about her being done with Meek Mill are true. Not surprisingly, one of the leeches from Nicki’s past is trying to slither back into her life. TMZ says that Safaree Samuels, who Nicki dated for over a decade, is holding out hope that she will show up on his doorstep and beg to rekindle their love.

A rep for Safaree tells TMZ that he never thought Meek Mill was good for Nicki or her career. Safaree thinks it’s no coincidence that Nicki hasn’t released an album in over two years, which is the same time she was with Meek Mill. Nicki reportedly has an album coming out sometime in 2017, so Safaree might want to table that theory for the time being.

It’s not just about Nicki’s career. A source claims that Safaree never stopped writing Safaree + Nicki on his binder. He still loves her and wouldn’t hesitate to get back together with her. This is the same person who wrote a song crying over Nicki and calling her a bad girlfriend and allegedly sued her for emotional and physical abuse.

Safaree also tweeted what VH1 thinks is a subtle message to Nicki. It could be a reference to Nicki’s verse about hooking up with someone through social media on Yo Gotti’s Down in the DM. Or he could just be greeting a friend with a large cranium. But by the sound of how desperate Safaree is to get back together with Nicki, my guess is it’s the first one.

Nicki hasn’t said anything about Safaree yet. But I’m sure that’s because Nicki is busy packing up her butt-supports and hauling ass to Safaree’s open arms. Safaree is an attention-seeking drama queen. One minute he’s hissing at Nicki on Twitter, the next throwing cute emojis at her. Lucky for him, so is Nicki. Vague tweeting and running to TMZ to talk shit about her ex-boyfriend probably worked like Spanish Fly on Nicki.
