The Internet Got Mad At Hilary Duff For Kissing Her Son On The Mouth
On Monday, Hilary Duff took her 4-year-old son Luca to Disneyland, maybe to show him the company mommy used to work for, but probably just because Disneyland is fun. While standing in front of It’s A Small World, Hilary and Luca posed for a mommy-and-son photo in which she gave her son a kiss. A kiss which happened to be on the mouth. Then she posted the picture to Instagram. I’ll give you a hint as to what happens next: people weren’t feeling it.

UsWeekly says it didn’t take long before a few commenters clutched their pearls and screamed “inappropriate!” at Hilary. According to some people, there’s an acceptable kiss-radius on a child’s face, and they let Hilary know that Luca’s mouth is located directly in the middle of the danger zone. Well, as expected, Hilary Duff didn’t really care about all the people she pissed off with that kiss, and she let them know with a follow-up Instagram.
Personally, I have no problem with kissing a kid that’s yours. What I am judging her for is that she took her 4-year-old on It’s A Small World. I went on It’s A Small World when I was 4, and I still have flashbacks to that stoned hippo staring into my soul while Chucky’s off-brand cousins whip around in the background to that creepy nightmare music.
