Fifth Harmony’s Lauren Jauregui Got Busted With Weed At An Airport

TMZ says Lauren Jauregui, who you may know as the bisexual member of Fifth Harmony or the member who skillfully worked a welding torch without melting her extensions in the Work video, was caught with weed at Dulles Airport in Washington D.C. last night. Law enforcement tells TMZ that Lauren was stopped by TSA and selected for a secondary search. If Lauren was giving maybe-stoned face like she is in that picture above from the American Music Awards, I *think* I may have an idea why she was selected for a secondary search.

Unlike recent secondary search celebrity casualty Judge Reinhold, Lauren’s secondary search didn’t end with her ripping off her shirt and cussing out TSA employees. TSA found a baggie weed in Lauren’s carry-on luggage. TMZ originally reported that Lauren was arrested, but Fifth Harmony’s lawyer Dina LaPolt released a statement shutting that rumor down. When police arrived to check out Lauren’s illegal carry-on bag in her carry-on, she just got a citation.

“Lauren Jauregui was not arrested and detained as reported, but simply given a citation for possession of marijuana and released on her own recognizance. She will address the matter appropriately through the legal system. This will not interfere with any future scheduled performances or activities.”

Lauren was on her way to perform with Fifth Harmony in Brazil this evening. So that’s good news for everyone on Twitter who begged Fifth Harmony to “COME TO BRAZIL!!!” and were afraid they’d only end up getting four harmonies.

What I really want to know is how the rest of Fifth Harmony responded to Lauren’s weed bust. Did they all link arms in solidarity with their fallen sister in front of the TSA employees while saying “Back off, That’s My Girl” or did they slowly tip-toe out of security while muttering “Lauren, weed at the airport? Girl, you know it’s not Worth It…
