Jennifer Lopez And Marc Anthony Got Themselves A Little Attention Last Night

Jennifer Lopez dumped Casper Smart two months ago, which means she’s free to do whatever she wants with her business. And apparently one of the things she wanted was to go to town on Marc Anthony’s mouth in front of an audience of a huge audience at the Latin Grammys last night in Las Vegas. Just a reminder that Marc Anthony is currently married to someone not named Jennifer Lopez.

The Latin Grammys were held last night in Las Vegas, and Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony did a good job of making it about them. They performed their single Olvídame y Pega la Vuel, a performance which looked like a bride cursing her groom out in the parking lot of Caesar’s Palace because he wouldn’t upgrade to the Deluxe Golden Chariot wedding package. Then Jennifer presented her ex-husband with the Person of the Year award and went extra in her introduction of him. Jennifer said in Spanish:

“Marc is a living legend. He is a magical and pure artist giving away classics that will stay forever. He will always be many things in my life. He will always be a lot of things to me. He’s my kindred spirit. My love.”

The audience started chanting “beso” (“kiss“), so that’s what Jennifer Lopez did when Marc came to grab his award. Well, eventually. They did that awkward “Err…you coming in or not?” back and forth with their bodies for a bit first. Skip to the 6:00 mark if you want to see that.

That kiss is the sort of thing they should have rehearsed a couple of times backstage before they did it live. Marc Anthony looked like he just wants that award. And when he does kiss JLo, he doesn’t look totally into. It was like the Latin Grammys version of the Kiss Cam. JLo looks like she’s about to pop off an eyelash strip from the excitement of all the attention she’s about to get, whereas Marc looks like he’s merely attempting to quickly leech some nutritional minerals out of the shimmer in her lipgloss.

Here’s Jennifer Lopez working an itchy-looking catsuit and sped-up Instagram makeup tutorial face on the red carpet last night, as well as some of Marc Anthony and two of his kids.
