Aldo Nova is a singer, songwriter guitarist, producer and magician (the way he can make coochies burst with just one open-mouthed pout IS magic) who had a hit all the way back in 1982 with Fantasy. Aldo Nova (born name: Aldo Caporuscio) made three albums with his record company, but decided to stop and let his contract expire after they refused to give him full creative control. Aldo went off to write songs for others instead. He wrote songs for fellow Canadian nightingale Celine Dion (he co-write A New Day Has Come) and fellow ovaries burster Clay Aiken (he co-wrote This Is The Night). He also won a Grammy for producing Celine’s album Falling Into You.
Aldo is mostly today’s HSOTD because of the beginning of the video for Fantasy.
