Val Kilmer Says He Doesn’t Have Cancer

November 2, 2016 / Posted by:

During a Q&A at the Royal Drury Lane Theater in London on Sunday, Michael Douglas kiki’d with the audience about the health of his former co-star and celebrity recluse Val Kilmer. Michael spilled that the reason you haven’t heard much from Val lately is because he’s battling the same cancer (oral cancer) Michael had. Val isn’t too thrilled that Michael gave out personal details about his current situation, and he took to Facebook yesterday to let everyone know what’s up. According to Val, what’s up is that Michael Douglas doesn’t know shit-all about what he’s talking about.

Val writes that the last time he spoke to Michael was two years ago when he asked for the name of a throat specialist. Val admits that he did have an issue with his throat, but it’s not cancer and he’s doing well now. You hear that, Douglas? Kilmer is a-ok, you damn busybody.

This is the second time Val Kilmer has hopped on Facebook to shut down a rumor about being sick. So either Val is fine and Michael is a misinformed fibber, or Val has secret cancer and Michael is telling the truth.

But one thing is for sure: Christian Science apparently makes you really nice. At least I’m guessing that’s why Val was so kind to Michael Douglas in that Facebook note. Facebook responses to gossip don’t usually turn out like that. Val actually called out Michael by name; that’s got to be a Facebook first. Usually a Facebook slap-back starts with the words “I see that *somebody* needs to mind their own business…“. And he ended with a quote from Mark Twain. Even the ghost of Mark Twain was like “But if he doesn’t end it with something about drama and backstabbing bitches, is it even a Facebook response?
